Aftercare and Healing Directions for Microblading and
Machine Brow Procedures :
Day 1: Blot brows constantly after the procedure and throughout the rest of the day.
Day 2 - Day 7: Gently wash brows every morning with a gentle/mild soap (Cetaphil is recommended) Rinse well, blot dry with a paper towel and apply one swipe of aftercare ointment provided.
*DO NOT pick at any scabs that may form. Let them fall off at their own healing pace.
**Shower with your back to the water and do not let it fall on your brows directly.
***Absolutely NO MAKEUP or products on forehead or eyebrow area. No Excessive sweating, chlorine water, sun, salt water.
After healing it is strongly recommended that you apply sunscreen to the eyebrow area everyday to minimize pigment fading and maximize the life of your brows.
Exfoliate your lips 2-3 days before the procedure. Keep them moist and stay well hydrated. Dry, chapped, lips will not accept pigment well and will not heal well.
Day 1- 14 keep moist using a q-tip and Vaseline for the first 14 days. Very moist lipstick can be worn over vaseline after 10 days.
Day 2 - wash lips with mild soap and water(baby shampoo/ Cetaphil) using fingertips. Rinse and pat lightly to dry. Apply a thick layer of Vaseline as often as needed. Your lips should always have a layer of vaseline.
Day 3-7 - Continue to wash lips with mild soap and water(baby shampoo/ Cetaphil) using fingertips. Rinse and pat lightly to dry. Apply a thick layer of Vaseline as often as needed. Your lips should always have a layer of vaseline.
**DO NOT pick any that may form. Let them fall off at their own healing pace. Shower with your back to the water.
Various degrees of swelling over the next few mornings will occur. An ice bag can be applied lightly the first 2 days as needed. Lips will appear swollen and darker then they will when they heal. This is completely normal. The initial procedure causes your skin to be open and expose the pigment. Over the next 7-10 days, your skin will heal over the pigmented area. Lips tend to fade 60% and color can play “hide and go seek” for up tp 4 weeks before resurfacing.
It will take a minimum of one week to heel, maximum of two weeks you must be patient and allow the area to peel to see your final result
During this 1-2 week healing process you need to know the following rules:
Avoid extended wear lipsticks or plumping gloss
Avoid Teeth Bleaching for a minimum of 3 weeks
Avoid drinking beverages without a straw
NO Chlorine water
NO Salt water
