GOING IN STYLE Hair Salon – Online Booking Policies

 

We are thrilled to welcome you to GOING IN STYLE! To ensure that all of our clients receive the best possible service and that our stylists' time is respected, we ask that you please review our booking policies before securing your appointment.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand that life happens and schedules change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly request a minimum of 24 hours' notice. This allows us the opportunity to accommodate other clients on our waiting list.

Late Arrivals

If you are running late, please call the salon as soon as possible. We offer a 15-minute grace period. If you arrive more than 15 minutes past your scheduled appointment time, we may need to alter your service or reschedule your appointment entirely to avoid disrupting the schedule for the rest of the day.

No-Show Policy

When an appointment is missed without prior notice, it leaves a gap in our stylist’s day that could have been filled by another client.

  • Clients who fail to show up for their scheduled appointment without contacting the salon will be considered a "No-Show."

  • A penalty fee equal to 50% of the total value of the missed service will be automatically added to your bill at the time of your next booked appointment.

  • Future appointments cannot be completed until this outstanding balance is settled.

Confirmations

You will receive an automated text or email confirmation prior to your appointment. Please use the prompts within that message to confirm your attendance or reach out to us directly if you need to make changes.

By booking an appointment online with GOING IN STYLE, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

All prices are exclusive of applicable state taxes.

A 4.5% New York sales tax will be automatically applied to all services at the time of checkout.

Our Hair Service Guarantee & Adjustment Policy

 

At GOING IN STYLE, we take immense pride in our artistry and the health of your hair.

We want you to love your results! If you are not 100% satisfied with your service, we are here to help.

1. The "14-Day" Adjustment Window

  • Complimentary Fixes: We offer a one-time complimentary adjustment if the result differs significantly from what was discussed during your initial consultation.

  • The Timeline: You must contact us within 14 days of your original appointment to qualify for a complimentary fix.

  • The Condition: The adjustment must be performed within 21 days of the original appointment. After this window, any changes will be considered a "Touch-up" or "Maintenance" service and will be charged at the standard rate.

2. Maintenance vs. Adjustments

  • Natural Growth: Hair typically grows about half an inch per month. Changes in the "placement" of color due to natural growth after 4+ weeks are considered maintenance, not a service error.

  • Tonal Shifts: Professional hair color is semi-permanent or permanent but will shift tone based on water quality, sun exposure, and washing frequency. We recommend professional-grade aftercare to maintain your tone.

3. Hair Integrity First

  • Our stylists reserve the right to refuse treatments that may cause permanent damage to your hair. If a desired "cool" or "ash" tone cannot be safely achieved in one session due to natural pigments, we will work with you on a multi-session plan to reach your goal while preserving hair quality.
